More about Jerry Steffen...
Jerry Steffen is known to Central Floridians as WMMO's late afternoon deejay, and perhaps by some as the one of the on-air meteorologists for the Orlando CBS affiliate, WKMG-TV Local-6. Also, record collectors nationwide may have encountered Jerry's work as he was once a contributing writer to Joel Whitburn's Record Research publications associated with Billboard Magazine. The tens-of-thousands of 45's and compact discs he has acquired over the years are often put to good use on his weekday features of the 'Lost 70's' (6pm) and the '70's at 7.'

"The highlight of my day is preparing and researching info on the music for 'The Lost 70's' and '70's at 7' features. I get a kick out of playing an occasional forgotten classic from my personal record collection while digging up and sharing those little-known facts about some of those great songs from one of the most eclectic decades in pop music history."

Jerry also hosts one of Orlando's most unique radio shows, "Sunday Morning Acoustic." The top-rated program (which airs on WMMO from 8am-noon each Sunday morning) often features classic live-tracks, special radio station in-studio performances, familiar but rare acoustic renditions, import CD bonus tracks and more... all unplugged! "We also feature some of Central Florida's best local talent!"

Jerry, who has been with the station since 1991, has always been very proud to be part of the WMMO staff.
