It was no big deal, really. I felt a slight prick of the needle and after a few pricks on each side, that was it! The juvederm was in and would "settle" over the next week. For me, it felt like instant results and I went straight to work after this appointment. But we had a few more things to do before I get to far ahead. Dr. Kaplan also gave me botox injections in the top portion of my forehead. This is really cool because aside from the lines going away, I still have brow movement and with the addition of some botox to the outer eye area my brows were actually given a slight "lift"! That was awesome...I do not have a tired look at all! The bags are diminished and my eyebrows are lifted in the most subtle way, but the overall result is BIG! I'm really loving this stuff!

I couldn't help but do the lip too. No, I didn't want Angelina's lips and the doc wasn't willing to give them to me because they definately DON'T suit my face. So he very delicately shot some juvederm into my upper lip to give me better balance between the two. I tried to do it without the numbing, but don't recommend it. I asked for it after 2 shots :)

So now I've had my lips, brows, forehead and tear troughs done, I thank the doctor and staff (he has the BEST girls working at his office), and head to work, no makeup, no bandages, no fancy hair....and I felt like a million bucks!! No one at the office knows I've had anything done...but they're about to notice something different about me!
