Pre-registration starts July 7 at the arena, and you must register to audition. In each city, pre-registration is held two days before the audition day and is open 24 hours until the morning of auditions.

No "Idol" judges will be here for the July 7 round, but they will visit Orlando later for callbacks.

Hopefuls must be 16 to 28 years old by June 12 to take part in all audition cities. Here are the other cities, sites and dates:

Boston, Gillette Stadium, June 14.

Atlanta, Georgia Dome, June 18.

Los Angeles, Rose Bowl, June 30.

Denver, Invesco Field at Mile High, on July 14.

Dates and sites for Chicago and Dallas were not announced.
