It's been about a week since my last visit to Dr. Kaplan & my 2nd erbium facial. Looking good, I did a nice at home exfoliation to remove some dry skin and my results are great.

I have to laugh...looking back.

It's been a while, so i decided to have a look at some of my earlier posts. I don't regret a thing and i can't believe the difference in that one picture...the group shot from one of our first botox parties. My thighs and my waist .... i can't believe i even showed that!

One week after Liposculpture

It's now been a full week since my liposculpture. The bandages are off and there are more bruises than initially, but they seem to be healing quickly. I take something called Arnica tablets and they are definately making a difference. I'm still a little sore, but on the whole, I feel terrific.

I am soooo glad I did this!

It's Thursday and i'm exstatic....I had liposculpture yesterday and yes, i'm back at work today. Haven't taken a pain killer, feel sore, but nothing untolerable. The best part is that I can SEE the difference! I've got some heavy bandages on and a tight fitting body wrap that's basically biker shorts only nicer....

Big day tomorrow!

I'm gonna do it, finally......tomorrow is liposculpture day and i'm pretty excited about it. We're going to try to video the procedure too...of course, it'll need some editing for privacy, but i'll do my best to show you the procedure and keep out anything you prob don't want to see!

We have the most fun get togethers at Dr. Kaplan's Maitland office. Harmoni, a local market/bistro brings food & wine and we talk in groups and one on one with the doctor. It's free consultations, lots of giveaways and demos of some products too. A Rep from Botox, Juvederm or other filler will talk a little as we all munch on goodies.

Week 1 - Botox Results

The doctor and I decided to start right away, so, first we targeted my large and deep tear troughs (what most people call "under eye bags"). These "bags" made me look tired all the time. Dr. Kaplan filled the tear trough with Juvederm. Now I'm in the office with 2 friends, so they are watching as I get this done and we're also filming so that I can show the video here (once I learn how to add video) and any live appearances for the station relating to Dr. Kaplan. My friends are a little needle shy, but I'm not and after all, my looks are supposed to improve so I'm ready!

I was more excited than nervous to find out what a cosmetic surgeon would have to say about the way I look. Just like anyone else, I have a few things I "say" I'd like to change but without this opportunity, would I ever really put those thoughts into action? And what would the doctor look and me and say? "this isn't right" or "wow, you sure do need some help"....I laugh as I think that, but I find myself walking faster and faster to the door for our first meeting!
