"We Live For Love" (#27/1980)
 The first tune Neil and Pat worked on together, and last track recorded for their first album In The Heat Of The Night was "We Live For Love," a song that came to Neil while he was relaxing in a swimming pool at his rented home in Woodland Hills, California. But the inspiration for the song is still being lovingly debated between the couple. Pat said, "He always swears he wrote this song about me, but he's lying, ha-ha! We weren't even together at this point; we were both having problems with our soon-to-be 'exes' and we were just beginning to realize we had a thing for each other. I remember it was torture being with him alone and writing a 'love song' about someone else." Neil countered, "Don't believe a thing she says. It was always about you, baby!"
