Ozzy Osbourne Gets First Cell Phone

Osbourne has cell phone... but can anyone understand him?

If there's one celebrity I could believe didn't get a cell phone until their 59th birthday, it's Ozzy Osbourne. I mean, his speech is already so garbled that standing right next to you, it still sounds like he's going through a tunnel.

So the question is now that the Iron Man has finally entered the cell phone age; can he actually use it for anything other than text messages?

According to daughter Kelly Osbourne, the answer is a big unfortunate yes. Ozzy loves his new cell phone and calls daughter Kelly incessantly - and recently phoned her just to inform her he was a fan of her 2005 album Sleeping In The Nothing.

Says Kelly, "He never had a mobile before and I f***ing hate it. He calls me all the time. I was out having dinner with my friends the other night and he called me and said, 'I've just got to tell you. I've been listening to your album. It's really good. I don't know why it didn't do so well.

"I spent half the night talking to him instead of my friends."

So there you go... for most young musicians having Ozzy Osbourne call to say he loved your album, it would be the thrill of a lifetime. But when he's also your father; he's just another uncool parent, who won't give you enough space to hang out with your friends.
