Phil Lynott was the bassist and singer for Irish rock band Thin Lizzy.

Sadly we lost Phil in 1986 to heart failure and pneumonia after being in a coma for eight days following a drug overdose.

This documentary tells his story in his own words.

A press release for the film says it focuses on “some of his iconic songs, the film aims to get to the heart of Philip, the father, the husband, the friend, the son, the rock icon, the poet and the dreamer.”

Currently the film is set for release in Ireland this fall.

Hopefully International release details will be coming soon.
