REO Speedwagon plays their final show together

After more than 5 decades of rockin’ together, REO Speedwagon has officially called it quits. REO Speedwagon brought their impressive career to an end over the weekend after performing their final show together at the Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas.

In case you missed it, the band had announced earlier this year that they were breaking up due to “irreconcilable differences.” Lead singer Kevin Cronin told the crowed “I feel sadness that this is the final REO Speedwagon concert, and at the same I feel grateful to have been part of this incredible ride.”

He also promised that the band’s music would live on with his solo tours> He’s hitting the road in the Summer opening up for Styx.

REO Speedwagon formed in 1967 and they’ve sold more than 40 million records and had 13 Top 40 hits, including two #1′s with “Keep On Loving You” and “Can’t Fight This Feeling.”
