I’ve always liked going to see where certain movies or TV shows were filmed because its cool to see what those places look like in real life. Usually you can go to a city something was set in, or a real place that was used as a fictional one, and try to locate specific spots that are still recognizable. But its pretty rare that you can go to a place where an iconic scene was filmed, and huge parts of the movie are still there, just on their own. But in the case of the 1993 Harrison Ford movie The Fugitive, one of the biggest scenes of the movie, the train crashing into the prison bus Ford was riding in, still sits in the woods of North Carolina. Both the train and the bus are just there, rusting away in the woods of the Great Smoky Mountains near Sylva, North Carolina. You can see more pics and a map to the actual location at this link.
