Watch Dee Snider Do “Love Hurts” As Part Of Coming Broadway Show “Rock Me Amadeus”

Watch Dee Snider sing a killer version of “Love Hurts” from the coming Broadway show “Rock Me Amadeus”. The video combines “Love Hurts” with Alanis Morissette’s “Uninvited,” and the classical strings of Tchaikovsky’s iconic theme to “Romeo and Juliet.”

“Rock Me Amadeus” is a Broadway show waiting for Broadway to reopen after having been shutdown for a year due to the pandemic.

But that doesn’t mean that nothing is happening with the show.

The show has said it will release a video a month as we wait for Broadway to reopen.

As part of that, on February 26th 2021 the video for “Love Hurts/Uninvited”.

A press release for the show describes it as “Arranged by Tony Bruno, the song is an original mashup that combines 80s rock of Nazareth’s “Love Hurts,” 90s angst of Alanis Morissette’s “Uninvited,” and the classical strings of Tchaikovsky’s iconic theme to “Romeo and Juliet.” Rock vocalists Dee Snider, Kia Warren and Chloe Lowery co-star in the video, showing off their vocal and acting chops.”

The video shows Snider in an LA hotel while Kia Warren and Chloe Lowery are shown on the empty streets of NYC.

I have to say here, Dee can F***ing sing.

I’ve seen him in many shows and stood beside him on stage playing in a band backing him up.

I still don’t think he gets the credit for exactly how good of a voice he has.

I think you may get a picture for yourself the vocal skills he has by checking out the video below.

Below that is a video of Dee, opera singer Alyson Cambridge and guitar virtuoso Tony Bruno discussing what exactly the show “Rock Me Amadeus” is all about.
