Wendy Butler | Honoree for April 2nd, 2021

Wendy was nominated by her friend, Chris, who said, “Not only is she an amazing pediatric oncology RN at Arnold Palmer, but now her job is even tougher. All her kids are immune compromised and now she has to work twice as hard because many have contracted Covid 19 from others on the outside. Her dedication to being extra cautious both at home and in work to insure she doesn’t make her sick kids more sick is relentless. Everyday I see her go to work and put her heart and soul into those very sick children and now even more with Covid 19. I never tell her enough how great she is at her job and how much she cares and puts in to her patients, so hopefully this is my way of showing her!!”.
