ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando International Airport will stop commercial flights as of Wednesday morning due to Hurricane Ian.
Airport officials said out of an abundance of caution, the final commercial flight will leave the airport at 10:30 a.m.

The airport will not close, which allows it to continue to accept emergency aid and relief flights if necessary. But the airport is also not a shelter, and officials advised passengers against waiting out the storm at the airport.
Officials are asking passengers to contact their airlines and rental car companies for flight rescheduling and rental car return information.
Travelers should double-check with their airline before heading to the airport.
