Trump left his Palm Beach, Florida, home in a motorcade heading to the airport around noon Monday, where he boarded his private jet to fly to New York. He is expected to stay at the Trump Tower overnight.

Some outlets reported that Trump would go to a Manhattan courthouse around 11 a.m. EDT Tuesday, but it is more likely that he will get to the courthouse around 1 p.m. where he will be processed before his arraignment, which is scheduled for 2:15 pm. EDT.

Once at the courthouse, he is expected to be fingerprinted, but it is unclear whether he will have a mug shot taken.

According to The Associated Press, investigators will then complete arrest paperwork.

At 2:15 p.m., Trump will be in Judge Juan Merchan’s court where Merchan will explain the charges against him and ask him to enter a plea. After the former president enters his plea and Merchan sets bail, Trump will be escorted out of the courthouse and head to the airport to return to Florida, according to sources familiar with his plans.

New York police say there will be rolling road closures as Trump moves about the city Monday and Tuesday.

Officials urged residents to use public transit, particularly on Tuesday.

At a press conference Monday, the city’s mayor, Eric Adams, called for people to “control yourselves” when Trump is in the city for the arraignment. Adams said New Yorkers have respect for the rule of law, and warned that anything less will not be tolerated.

“New York City is our home, not a playground for your misplaced anger. We are the safest large city in America because we respect the rule of law in New York City,” Adams said at City Hall.

The mayor specifically called out U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., at the press conference. Greene has said she intends to be in New York on Tuesday as Trump is arraigned.

“Although we have no specific threats, people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is known to spread misinformation and hate speech, says she’s coming to town. While you are in town be on your best behavior. As always, we will not allow violence or vandalism of any kind. And if one is caught participating in any act of violence, they will be arrested and held accountable no matter who you are.”

A Manhattan grand jury indicted Trump on Thursday for his role in paying hush money to a porn star while recording the payment as a legal expense, according to several sources. The indictments remain under seal, making they have not been made public.

After Trump is arraigned in New York, he will return to Florida where he says he will offer remarks at 8:15 p.m. EDT from his home at Mar-A-Lago.

As of Saturday night, Trump’s campaign had received more than $5 million in donations since the news of the indictment broke on Thursday, according to Axios.
